B ATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge’s Wearin’ of the Green St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been rescheduled to Sunday, March 16, due to the threat of severe weather on Saturday, March 15. BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Wearin’ of the Green Parade in Baton Rouge returns for its 40th year on Saturday, March 15. The parade rolls at 10 a.m. This year’s grand marshal is ROAD CLOSURES on parade day: Perkins Road will be shut down at 11:00 a.m. for the remainder of the day. All other streets around the parade route will be shut down at 11:00 a.m. WBRZ's broadcast of the parade will start at 11:30 a.m. on Channel 2, and the parade will be rebroadcast on WBRZ+ at 3 p.m. on Sunday and 1 p.m. on Monday — St. Patrick's Day.
